Content and postings

As mentioned on our About page, we have only been doing this for a short time! Everything we write about is based off of our own experiences, and is just one opinion or way of doing things. We don’t claim to know everything or the best way to do things.  Beekeepers love to say “five beekeepers, six opinions!”, and it’s very true – there’s so many approaches to this, and what works for us may not necessarily be right for you.  Also keep in mind that we are in Colorado – some aspects of beekeeping are very climate-specific, so things we do here might not be the best course of action for where you are. We make no guarantees as to the accuracy of information on this website.

Products

Honey sold in our online store can currently only be sold to customers in Colorado – sorry! This is per the Cottage Foods Act, and as just hobby beekeepers, we aren’t scaling up at this time to a level that would allow us to sell it inter-state.  Please also note that this product was produced in a home kitchen that is not subject to state licensure or inspection and that may also process common food allergens such as tree nuts, peanuts, eggs, soy, wheat, milk, fish, and crustacean shellfish. This product is not intended for resale.

We cannot guarantee that honey will taste the same from batch to batch; this is a natural product and flavor may change depending on the exact sources of nectar used by the bees to make each batch.

Many of our products are handmade. As such, they are unique and one-of-a-kind and may differ slightly from products shown in the photos.

We cannot be held liable for any damage arising out of the use of any of our products or goods.
